I'm short in cash. I have needs. Ok..maybe wants. MAYBE BOTH?! Why can I not have both? So yeah...you get the picture? I like to buy RANDOM THINGS, NECESSARY THINGS, ESSENTIAL, IMPORTANT? AWESOME? CUTE, SASSY, COOL, CHIC? THINGS. I LIKE THINGS.
Ok, so my style is in love with jackets, blazers, cool tees-rippedtees? Balmain-ish tees? Asymmetrical? Anything that floats my boat, ANYTHING ASYMMETRICAL, androgyny. Yaddayaddayaddaa:))
So to get you interested, here are some things that I like that could reflect my online thrift store:
All of these are found in my "inspire me bitchezz" folder:)))) So they're basically from the blogs that I follow like Knighttcat, jujiin, dandy project, et al. :)) I forgot where I got these pics but yeah, they are from blogs.
DID YOU JUST SEE MY FAILED ATTEMPT IN MAKING A STATEMENT THERE?! =))) SHITS SO LAME. ANYHOO, everyone meet Anna dello Russo! She's sooo badass I don't know how to explain it!
She's like THE ULTIMATE CHICK OUT THERE EVAR!!! :)) NO ONE BEATS ANNA DELLO RUSSO. Ugh. I just love this herrrr!!! So for you to understand why I love her...IMMA LET YOU WATCH THIS THEN YOU'LL KNOW WHY I LOVE HERRR. :))
This Saturday, I watched I Love You, Man on HBO. It was actually a funny movie! All in all though, it was a good movie to kill time with. Jason Segel, as usual, was cool and funny but what got me to appreciate the movie more was the soundtrack behind it. As they did say, sound composes half of what we see or...something like that...yeahhhh.. :|
Anyhoo, here are some vids that I searched that I liked from the soundtrack list of the movie:
1.) RUSH- Tom Sawyer
THEY ARE AMAZING BTW! THE DRUMMER IS LIKE..WHUUTTTT. =)) The synths are just like..I'm on drugs or somethin! :))) The "studio" version is much better coz you see them playing awesomely. "SLAPPIN THE BASS, MAN!" :)) You'll get me if you watch the movie;)
2.) THE BLACK KEYS- Set You Free
This one, kind of reminds me of The Dead Weather. Maybe it's coz of the sound of the guitar...I dunno. But check em out as well coz I like it too.
3.) RUSH- Limelight
Apparently, I am now a fan of Rush. =))) This one is the one from the movie, they're very funny here and I feel sorry for Zooey but it was bound to happen. =)) BROMANCE!
4.) MATT COSTA- Mr. Pitiful
This one I like because of the beat :D The video is cute as well...
5.) THE DONNAS- Dancing with Myself
Who could say no to this song!? Billy Idol's vid though is weird coz there's zombies and stuff...and he's just dancing with himself. :)) And then there's Artie from Glee dancin' with his wheel chair on!!! :)) That was nice.
6.) PAUL RUDD AND JASON SEGEL- Limelight
OMG. I LOVED IT WHEN THEY DID THIS IN THE MOVIE!!! GALINNNGG!!! :)))
A BONUS FOR YOU ALL.... =)))))
I'M SLAPPIN DA BEEAAASSSEE, MON!!! =)) HYSTERICCAALL!
All of these I got in youtube and google for the photo.
This is what I wore for my friend's 18th birthday dinner bash.
The venue for the bdaybash was in Chili's Greenhills and lucky for me it was close to my place. I was in no hurry to leave and it wasn't a formal dinner so two thumbs up on that!
I went to meet up with a friend in Ronac Art Center (or something like that) for the "First Dibs" bazaar. The stuffs there were cool but they were a bit too overpriced for me. A necklace that has 2 dice on 'em worth 150 pesos is a little too much, no? CHEESUS, you can see those dice in Divisoria for half the price less! (SEE WHAT I JUST DID THERE? I MADE A GLEE REFERENCE, HA! MLIA) (Oh, MLIA stands for My Life Is Average, I just found out about that today, HAHA!)
ANYHOO, the bazaar was weird because I was there all alone and waited for a FRIEND to arrive in what took like a gazillion years! (YOU KNOW WHO YOU ARE!!!) BUT, I still love you! =)))) The party went well and I missed my friends so all was good. I must say my Fajita Trio in Chili's was AMAZING because the MEAT WAS SUPER SOFT THAT IN ONE CHEW...IT PARTS! =)) (DID YOU JUST GET MY DESCRIPTION?!?) That's how awesome it was! Oh, did I mention that it was worth like 650-ish pesos? :> =))
I am wearing a Dorothy Perkins denim shirt, Yvonne's(THIS IS THE NAME OF THE STORE, FYI.) leggings, Lacoste shoes, Forever 21 necklace and studded bracelet, and vintage Escada bag.
So Balenciaga paraded these teddy boy-inspired outfits which was combined with punk masculinity, hence the creeper-ish shoes. I FELL IN LOVE. :))
So when I saw it, I was inspired and I just had to copy it. In my terms and style of course, since I could not afford any of these outfits. So I took a biker-ish vest, my brother's polo(where he got mad because I was wearing it), and since I don't have creepers like the ones above (I WOULD LOVE TO HAVE ONE THO) I used my oxford shoes that I got in Cubao X.
I grabbed was and placed it on my hair to put a "punky" style into it.
Taadaaa!!! Here's what I got.
I miss my old long hair. I'm planning to grow my hair back and hopefully, I get awesome results. When I got my hair cut short, Freja then stopped keeping her hair short which is like...MAJOR FUCKERYY!!! =)) I only got my hair cut short because she did too, oh and yes, my undying love for Agyness Deyn since I was in high school.
I've got mad resepect for that chick, but yeah, I must admit I miss her old hair. But no matter what, I still love the girl! You can't hate chicks who got spunk like that! Anyhoo, time to go to school in a bit. BYE-YA!!! :)))
