Lee had another photoshoot today or rather yesterday for his Concept Photog class. This time, the theme was colored lights. Lee used cellophanes to add the color on to the lights and setting it up was kind of difficult because there were loads of technical stuff to do.
The model was Lee's friend's model, haha. She came from UST and I THINK she really does modelling stuff so she was used to posing and wasn't camera-shy at all. Her name is Antje Schwarting, I'm guessing she has German blood in her veins????? (?????) :))

Here's Lee's friend Lauren retouching and stuff.
Lee then used the red cellophane...waaaayyyy awesome-rrrr than the green one. The green one reminds me too much of Benilde!
Down here, the spotlight was being held by one of Lee's friends too, his name is Wei Xu!
Looveee the effect of the light on her face!
Then Lee decided to combine the blue with the red and the result was EPIIICCC!
How hipster the colors combined was...here's Wei Xu getting a test shot.
Black started appearing on the sides and once again, I'm liking the effect. My prof told me something about it and why those black things happen but I can't remember what he said :|
I totally had fun in the photoshoot and learned some new things. Lee always invites me on his photoshoots and let's me take photos as well. I'm really thankful that he teaches me stuff because the things I learn or the things that my prof teaches in Fotogra is just not enough.
The red and blue lights reminded me of an editorial from Nylon magazine and Garage magazine's editorial for the Louis VuittonxStephen Sprouse collection that has Matteo Guidicelli on the cover wayyy back...
so I guess that's it for the photoshoot.
Photos to come when I played Rock Band with the Band. =))
PS. Yeap, we still don't have a band name. :|
MODEL: Antje Shwarting
Make-up and styling: Lauren Gale Salgado

Thank you so much for helping Nikki!
ReplyDeleteoh btw, one of the reasons why black stuff appears is that, your shutter speed is too fast :D next time if it's a bit over exposed try adjusting the aperture instead of the shutter speed :>
Now I knoowww. Thanks Lee!!!
