It Was A Cold Evening ...

Thrifted Coco No.5 shirt, Casio watch, Lacoste shoes

So I wore this thrifted Coco shirt.
Went to mass, Ate at House of Minis which now costs like gold (not literally) but with crappy services like overused table cloth and cracked plates :| It used to be my favorite affordable steak house but now it's just expensive. And we went Metrowalk to buy DVDs! We got some Koreanovelas for my mom and we bought Christopher Nolan's Memento and we're trying to do a Harry Potter Marathon! We'll see how that goes soon but for now I shall say ADIOS, AMIGO! We're watching this scary movie called Insidious.

EDIT: Scratch that, I went upstairs and saw them watching a different movie. It was Battle in Los Angeles or something :)) Basta, something with Aliens.

Walking in Makati.

I went to my mom's salon because she got her hair re-colored and cut. She was with her friend who was getting her hair dye-d as well so after reading 3 or 4 Vogues, I decided to go out for a walk since the rain stopped already.

Here are some of the things I saw that afternoon:

This cool place called Picasso that has an awesome logo. I believe it's a gallery/cafe (?)

Oh, and I loove taking photos of buildings and since Makati is like the business center of Metro Manila, it's pretty much filled with buildings and I'm sure un-earthed secrets.

I love taking pictures of corners...I don't know why! It just fascinates me in some way I can't explain or understand.

I loove the "bricks"/stones used on this building. Sooo retro-looking.

Handicapped.

Oh, and this building is weird/cool-looking because it looks like it has rust everywhere. As you go closer you'll see a rust color with some purple streaks which is something I've never seen on a building before! I wonder what's inside that building tho :\

Oooohhh, what pretty colors these leaves have!

See. Corners again.

Dark eeriiee tree. It looks black because it's wet from the rain.

Corners again!

I liked this building because it reminded me of Singapore!

I like the font.
After the salon, my mom treated her friend out to Circles! Lucky I went with mom...buffettfest~~

Whenever I eat at a buffet restaurant, I try to focus on the "expensive foods" that I don't always eat, ika-nga para masulit ang pag-kain. I make sure to get 2 plates of sushi and the expensive lambs or roast beef. And I always make sure I still have room for dessert!

Sweet baby Jesus, Bless this cake! This cake is sooo heavenly and it's called Ohana. My favorite part of eating this cake was when I get to the crunchy part. Ughhh, saraaap.

CREEPY STALKER BABY PIC ALERT!

Can I just say this baby is soooo cute?!?!

AND THAT WAS MY DAY. BOW.

Band Practice

We were on summer break so there were no practice sessions then. Yesterday was the first day of our band practice but our vocalist wasn't there because we forgot to text him and because he doesn't have a facebook account! (yes folks, wala siyang account kasi ayaw niya) :\ WHYYY?!

Here's Neal preppin' his new guitar that was give to him by a friend! Neal is sooo lucky, oh and did I mention it's a Squier Stratocaster? Not bad for something that was handed down to him.

Vitug posing for the camera.

Here's Vitug talking to John the drummer.

Thor flexin' his muscles
Oh, and Thor is baaaackkk!!! He's got mad skillz, yo!

Neal doing sound check.

The amp that I use

And it has somehow become our habit of eating late lunch at McDonald's every time we finish practicing.

I Was Inspired By...

Kanye West when he was in Coachella performing and rocking that pretty cool Phoebe Philo blouse....

I can't really afford Celine (note: this Celine is NOT the Celine in our malls, to know more about this label, click here and here) but I can shop in my momma's closet (sings I got it from my mama~~=)) 'KAY) so I got thissss~~~

Which also reminded me of this...

Lady Gaga wearing Alexander McQueen

because of the color palette-vibe it gives. But dear god, the heat outside kills so I wore my sunglasses which gives of...

this vibe:

I feel like I'm the Oracle's bodyguard in The Matrix! =)))) Pero I still feel badass tho. Cool kaya si Bodyguard.

And is it just me or do I look thin in this silk shirt?! :)))
My friends thought I was wearing a kimono and one thought I went straight from Thailand! The others were just speechless, bro said "WTF?!", Mum said I look nice.

People having different reactions/thoughts to my outfit is nice. It's better than being average-looking, no? Besides, I'm tired of my chill-lazy-bum outfits. Change is good.

Equation of the day: Kanye+Oracle's Bodyguard+Lady Gaga=ME! :)) ASA.

Singing to Maroon 5.

First day of 3rd year College life started yesterday and coincidentally ends with a Maroon 5 concert which was totally epic. 'CEPT FOR THE FACT THAT STUPID GOLD PEOPLE STOOD ON THEIR SEATS AND WE SAW NO FLESH OF ADAM OR THE OTHERS....we just saw them on the screen (and yes, I was in Silver).

Nevertheless, the concert was sooo epic that my ears were in so much pleasure that I was shouting and jumping for joy. Sucked that the others around me weren't as enthusiastic as I was and I don't understand why. The band was really good live and kudos to Adam because his voice was like the tracks. I also love how he dances and flirts with the mic stand =))

A new addition to my "collection" of concert shirts!

I dunno about you guys but I always have this goal in my mind that I will always sing as hard and as loud as I can (even if I'm not in tune, which is always like that) that after the concert I won't have a voice. I have this belief or whatever that if you got yo' voice, you didn't enjoy the concert. So I scream and sing at the top of my lungs and dance the night away (parang aerobics lang)! =))

The concert was amazing...but to be honest, it wasn't as great as The Script's. My next target: 30 FUCKING SECONDS TO MARS!!!! I CAN'T WAIT!!!

The Wedding Bride

Mum likes blingers...don't ask me why..She just does.

This day was the day Kuya Obet got married!
He's the son of my ninang Nene and I gotta say, I was kind of psyched to attend the wedding because I've never really been to a "legit" wedding. By legit wedding, I mean the REAL THING. As in the one where they-really-love-each-other-so-they-want-to-tie-the-knot thing.

The first wedding I've been to was a shotgun wedding so it's not really legit. This wedding went pretty well, and THE FOOD IN THE RECEPTION WAS PRETTY AWESOME!

Here's the groom with his mom (my ninang) and his dad.

Le invitation~~

Mummy's a ninang! NOTE: THAT IS NOT MY FATHER. :))) Just wanted to clear that up or something.

Ninang Nene's daughter Ada who is a doctor nooww~~
As far as my Grey's Anatomy knowledge goes, she's still in the position before you become a resident (oohh, I know medical termz) =))

THIS BOY IS SOOO ADORABLE HE'S SOO MAKULET! He's the son of Ninang Nene's other daughter, Tintin. One time, we visited their place in Quiapo (Oh yah, they own the famous ham store in Quiapo called Excellente Ham) and this kid toured us around and showed us HIS PETS! He's got rabbits and dogs but they also have hamsters AND exotic animals like Tigers, but they left them in Bataan =)).

Cute flower girl.

AND THE BRIIDDEE~~

Riiighhtt about here, I realized she was crying AND WHEN I SEE PEOPLE CRY, I FEEL LIKE CRYING TOO..Then I remembered!

Her dad was there at the end of the aisle in a wheel chair because he's sick (I believe her dad has cancer)!
GOOD GOD! *TEARRSSSS IN MY EYESSS*

(that's her brother walking her to the altar and realized he was also crying) :((((
BUT FEELING KO NAMAN KASAL KO KUNG UMIYAK AKO, NOH?
So I held it in =))
Tigas ako eh.

Oh sweet baby Jesus! There's the father in the wheel chair on the lower left ;__;

Le Ninangzzz~~~

Vows

Here's my Ninang Nene!
She's pretty funny and hilariously straight-forward, she could also be sarcastic in the most funny ways! =)) I loovee herrrr.

ANNDDD OFF TO THE RECEPTION! The reception was held in Manila Polo Club, first timerz in da house! :))) (First time ko lang makapunta dun okay?)

A KISS!

OH, AND CAN I JUST SAY I LOOVEEE HER WEDDING GOWN! Loooviiinnn the traiin.
Congrats to Kuya Obet and Ate Chingky! :)
