Stripes and Plaids.

Ate dinner with my mum that night.
The shirt I'm wearing is old school. It belonged to my mum and the emblem says "Burberrys" =))
If you look closely, there are 3 buttons that are sewn closely, I dunno why but I like that little detail about the shirt. The emblem, even though it says Burberrys, is pretty cool if you ask me.

New yellow green socks are from Forever 21.
Plaid shirt from my mum's closet, Striped sleeveless shirt was gifted and yellow green socks from F21.

Bloody Hell!

I don't know what to put in the title so I just used that because of the first 2 photos :))

For VIDPROD2, we were tasked to make a horror film and I'm going to show it to you but my friend's laptop died :( Along with all the files and images he have there so no videos and PSAs. The PSA , when finished, was awesome tho. Saw it in class and found it scary :)) It was about smoking kasi.

After the shoot at my friend's condo, went home and here's my socks for that day! :D

It's an "over-the-knee socks" but decided to just crumple it at the ankle area. pretty cool tho, love the colors and it very much reminded me of Tavi's new site called Rookie.

Then in school...

WHAT A CUTE KITTY COIN PURSE! I think my friend said this little kitty came from Europe, sosyal kitty.

Nice shirt you got there.

MISFITS.

I'm sure you've all met Kakoy (who we tease is a girl) but this is his counter-part, Ella. THEY LOOK ALIKE! Well, sorta...like brother and sister :))

And that's meeeee.

Random vest I found in my closet, Topshop shirt and shoes (both were gifts from mah friendzzz), and H&M ring (which was a gift from my bro when he went to HK).

RED.

Tommy Ton's photos are always gon be the best but he's been kind of M.I.A right now. Some of his photos (and of Streetfsn's seen above) have inspired me to wear an all-red outfit. I thought of it as a challenge and my dear friends...CHALLENGE ACCEPTED!

(Funny how, I explained to one of my friends that I got inspired by some photos and she was like "May peg ka para sa susuotin mo for school?!?" =)) Good times, Eggy, good timmeess.)

I'd do an ALL RED OUTFIT but alas, I have no plain red shirt and red shoes, I wish I had tho so I'd be full red! I got scared commuting to school tho coz they might think I'm rich or whatever, alam mo naaaa, baka saksakin na lang ako diyan tas kunin nila ung bag ko na ang laman lang eh animation papers =)) Sayang naman hard work ko at ang kaluluwa nila dahil laman lang eh papel.

H&M sunglasses, Zara shirt, Escada pants, Forever 21 socks and shoes, and my H&M ring and Casio watch.

Dressing up like this felt really good. It's been a while since I did something "daring" so cheers to RED and it's awesomeness! It made me realize how fun dressing up can be. The mixed reactions from friends and other people are cool. People got reminded of Ronald McDonald and others random Xmas decorations and I'm pretty sure some would think I'm crazy or something. So it's something I really find amusing.

You guys should try it too and not worry what other people think. Dressing up doesn't mean you're weird ya know? It's pretty good for your self-esteem. You look good na nga and you feel good pa! It's a win-win situation. Unlike 2 Broke Girls' Max whose self-esteem BEEEEEEEPPEEED (flat-lined) yours has a chance pa :)) So whatcha waitin' for? Go and look for YOUR "daring" PEG!

Oh, and check out these cute sooockkss! Got them from Forever 21~~

When I got home I realized...

I could be the THIRD MEMBER OF THE WHITE STRIPES!!! Of course, disbanded na sila though..sayang chance ko! =)) jk.

Wednesday Blues

Am I giving off a Blane vibe from Pretty in Pink? =)) Eww, didn't like Blane in that movie. Ducky pa rin!

Uhm, so yeah, I'm running out of things to say....LOOK AT THE CUTE SOCKS! :O
Here at one of the school's computer lab and I just sold another item! WOOOO~~ Sucks big time tho is that I buy a lot of things these days. The idea of retail therapy is killing my wallet and we ALL know that's not good.

On my birthday I'm planning on opening my OWN account but I need cash *insert sad face here* of about hmmmm...let's say 10,000 pesos? Where the hell am I gonna get that much money?! It's hustling time once again bitches and I mean HTMIIA hustlin' time!
*play the theme song riiiiigghhhtttt...here!

Anyhoo, I've got another "outfit post" and it's ALL RED. In the meantime, I'll lead you to my "drawing blog" in tumblr. Check it out peeps, R.T.S.

Free Day Tuesday

I have no class on Tuesday but decided to be busy and wake up early anyways. Got up at around 8:45 and got dressed. There were "Plant Visitors" (no, they're not going to visit our plants, they're going to check our business out coz we have a printing press yo!) so I was told to dress well but I was not in the mood to "dress well" and did the best I can with this:

I'm wearing my Never Shout Never shirt, Black Biker Vest from Greenhills, Forever 21 Aztec print socks and Escada shoes which were given to me by ninang.

That afternoon, I went shopping to fill up my stocks in my online store and decided to dress down so I wore my Lacoste shoes and removed the vest. Check my other site for the stuff I got for you guys! S.H.R.T

Bucket Hats..

and how I think the Japs (and old people) are the only ones who can pull them off.

See what I mean?

I found this bucket hat at home but I've no idea where it came from (and I think I may have worn this before and shown it to you guys na) and every time I look at it, I remember these photos and realize that the only ones who can pull them off are these types of people.

So I decided to take it out for a spin (how courageous of me).

Oh, and I bought cool new socks!!! From Forever 21. Got them for a 100+ pesos a pop.

You'll see me wearing the socks in the next posts but for now, the bucket hat is all you'll get. What do you think about "my take" on the hat? Or better yet, what do you think about bucket hats? :))

Photos are from Mister Mort, The Sartorialist, and The Dandy Project.

Karl

Mundo's Karl Lagerfeld tee, Bro's cardigan, Shoes I bought from Singapore, and the bandana cap I bought in Status Yard Sale.

I like to mix things up. I don't like to stay in one "genre" and I hate being "mediocre" when it comes to dressing up (but I do get days when I can blend with everyone here in Manila) so if you think my style is weird, then those two must be the reasons why I dress up weirdly. Lately, I've been venturing into the "hip-hop" style and I'm actually liking it (wait, am I doing hip-hop ba? =)) ).

Kid Cudi in How To Make It in America nails it every time although his style is pretty cool too, check it.

Speaking of How To Make It in America, it's my new favorite thing and it's really inspiring and I'm picking up lotsa things there too! You guys should check it out if you love NYC, Fashion/Clothes, hipsters, and the whole pot. HTMIIA is DOPE!

PS. My fave characters there are Rene, Cam, Gingy, Lulu (I'm really loving her style too), and Rachel (I love her outfits).

30th

NAVA round sunglasses, Topshop denim shirt, Sleeveless sailor shirt, Green Cambridge Satchel (which has a lot of battle scars already :(( ), Casio watch, and the newly bought Step Right Mary Jane/Espadrille hybrid (GENIUS).

I think I wore this on the 30th but I'm not really sure. I forgot the date. Obviously, I'm not really good at remembering things like names, dates, and birthdays. It's such a dilemma really. Anyhoo, I wore this when we watched "Praybeyt Benjamin". I found the movie corny but it had it's funny moments.

Step Right/Rite (I really can't remember how they spell the brand name) is a local shoe store in Laguna. We're related to the owner named Tita Teresita so we always visit them every time we go there. She's kind of really old na but she hasn't retired yet which is pretty cool. You should drop by a visit when you go to Pagsanjan, Laguna. They have loads of shoes and slippers at affordable prices.

Proud Race

Proud Race shirt, Doc Martens, F&H barbed wire bracelet and H&M Bangles.

I wore it last week and it was super comfy.
I WANT MORE OF THESE SHIRTS. Yes, it's that good.

PFW SS 2012

Last week, I went to Philippine Fashion Week that was scheduled at 9:30pm last Wednesday night. Here are the photos that I took, I gotta say they ended up pretty good considering I was standing at the VERY back row ah. It's all thanks to that book I read in National Bookstore =))

Leather straps.

The Chang siblings. DAYUM!

Cool red blazer.

My boss is the one in blue.

Cool shorts.

The emblem thing on the chest. Cool.

Cool sandals! The one who made those sandals is a student from CSB and his prof is the designer, the professor's name is Gerry Katigbak and the shoe designer's name is Ace.

Cool shoes!

It's Gerry!
I always see him in the cafeteria and I always like his outfits. Really slick dude.

Andre Chang.

The next dresses are pretty cool, it kind of made my night.

And the finale...

I then took my friend home back to Taft and ate McDonald's at home. I was pretty hungry when I got home but was totally happy and satisfied. I slept really well that night even though a terrible headache ruined my day.

My friend, Trixie and Carla.

This is Ace's shoes for the night! I want him to make me one too...but not as tall as that :))
Here's what I wore that night. It was a total impromptu outfit. :P

Zara blazer, Arnold Caruso pocket square, Ralph Lauren Shirt, F&H cross necklace, and Zara leather shoes.
