Mars Attacks Manila!

Andrea's Triad which I made (just sayin') :))

We were going to watch 30 Seconds to Mars then! My first ever concert with my cool friend Andrea Ang, hellooo thereee!
Actually, first "legit" concert namin yan because we watched our first concert together when Katy Perry arrived here after Ondoy...I think BUT IT WAS FREE so it's not counted as legit. Next concert that we're aiming for is All Time Low in Manila!!! We'll see what happens then. :>

Andrea's friend's cool DIY tee

Kjwan was the front act and I had to admit, they're still really good at performing live. I saw them once when they were a guest in our school fair. I was still an avid fan then,now... I'm just rooting for 30 Seconds to Mars. Then rain started pouring and this is what we look like:

Andrea first tried to be hardcore but decided to just buy a raincoat :)) We were worried about her vintage bag kasi eh =))

And here's me being hardcore all the way! (I was really hoping Jared Leto would appreciate my hardcore-ness, apparently, it wasn't enough =)) )

AAHhhh!!! Photo of me and Andrea soaking wet, the wait was long our backs ached. =))

And so it begins...the wait was over!

JARED!!!

OOOhhh, raindrops are falling on my headd~~

ZOMG. FAVE PIC OF JARED LETO, GUYS!

MY FAVE PIC OF TOMO, It was actually the only "nice" one I got since he moves a lot. :)) Oh, and don't mind the hand na lang.

JARED PICKED PEOPLE FROM THE CROWD TO INVITE ON THE STAGE AND ASKED THE GIRL TO CHOOSE WHAT SONG TO SING!!! :(((( WE WENT WILD BUT HE NEVER SAW US :((( Another chance we could've had to go on the stage was the ending where they were going to play Kings and Queens but alas, I only had a 3-second chance to look into Jared Leto's eyes which just..UGHHH, made me dieee.

He sang The Kill, Hurricane, and Alibi in acoustic mode. I was just mesmerized and amazed in Alibi and Hurricane. =))

OMG, he looks sooo adorable here!

Shannon's drumming skills...EPIC TO THE BONE!~~

Aaanndd, end of concert. Here's what we look like at the end of it :D

E-V-E-R-Y-T-H-I-N-G WAS W-E-T!
But I wouldn't have changed it any other way. The rain made it an awesome concert, it was an amazing night.

Woops, my finger went out of the Triad. :))

People sometimes wonder why I go to concerts, why I have to spend a LOT of my money/savings in going to these concerts. I've thought a lot about it on the way home and one thing I realized is that I do it for the rush. The rush of joy and excitement you see, feel, and hear when your favorite band comes out from the backstage and just play the songs that you want to hear.

Sure, the wait is hard especially if it's an open area where there are no seats to sit on. But all that pain in my back area, the sweat and heat of waiting with the crowd (or the cold drip of rain from the skies), the aching of my ankles and feet will soon be gone once the speakers start blaring out the notes that the band makes. The rush they make you feel when they sing your favorite song (and you sing with them even though you're not singing it right) makes you just want to jump is insaaaneee! There's no other feeling that could replace it when you're in that moment, when you're in that zone...it's your moment.

So yeah, I don't mind spending 4K in one evening if it means one night of super epic madness in epic proprtions! =)) (but not the crazy-bad-madness, the good one, ah!) Those moments are the ones I will cherish forever.

On a lighter note, some chick lost a shoe when she went up the stage~~!! =))) HILARIOUS! HOW'D SHE GO HOME?! EWWWW...KADIREEE.

THE END.

PS. Sorry for the crappy shots..crappy ung digicam ko eh. I suggest to click on the photos to see it better. :))
