Analog Signals

Went to this Dope MNL thing somewhere in Chino Roces and totally had a blast. Mostly because I was just hanging out with my friends.

Here is a close up of the shirt that I wore that night. It's the Madonna/Virgin shirt from Proudrace!
Hehe, got it when Status had a garage sale or sumthin. We went over to Patmai's place to drop of her school stuff and went to Nova Gallery. We had a tough time looking for it but eventually found it. Luckily, my friend Patmai was familiar with the place.

When we got there, Bee Eyes was already playing! Yay, I got to see them again because I just think they're awesome. The sad part is that I never get to start their set, haha.

When we got there, a lot of people were outside but we decided to roam around the gallery first. Below are some of the art featured in the gallery. The gallery, btw was pretty cool and nice. Click on the images na lang to enlarge, hehe.

This one was pretty cool, it's really just a black and white art on canvas but a projector made it change its colors! Cool idea, man.

Bee Eyes finished their set and my friends wanted to drink the Tanduay Ice they brought (Yes, BROUGHT, coz they're badass like that) and so we decided to roam the compound. Here are the things that we did around the compound...

I saw a cool dark alley and thought that it would be cool to have a photo right there and so we did!

I think the coolest thing we saw there last night was this warehouse for interior things and the warehouse was decorated with fake grass/vines and the photos turned out great!

Props to my friend, Trixie for the cool photos. This is probably one of my favorites nao + a lot of people are liking my profile pic in Facebook, hehehe (that's me on the left and that's Patmai on the right)

Patmai was kind of hyper/drunk that night na, so I think that's why she did this pose =)) She's hilarious to bits. PLUS, she was legit MY first friend in college, guys. Plus points to her!

And then that's my trying to kill her =)) We were laughing. We realized we hadn't eaten dinner that night so we decided to eat dinner in Ministop. We spent most of our time there and we had loads of laugh too. Down here, Patmai is probably talking to the doughnut and saying "Shhh" to it as she ate the poor doughnut. It was hysterical I tell ya! HYSTERICAL!

Here's us pretending not to know that we're not being photographed near the white wall.

We then ran out of drink and had a lot of laugh and decided to go home. Walking towards my car, the crowd parted and....

A WILD JOEY APPEARED! :D

Everyone knows Joey, guys. EVERYONE.

That ends an epic cool night.
I took some photos with my Yashica but it's black and white so Imma have to wait for it to get developed. Photos courtesy of Trixie :D

Welcome to The Collective.

I went to The Collective because I needed cool places to shop for my project in Webdev which totally killed me. I just have to submit the final CD of everything I made and then I'm free. Anyhoo, back to The Collective!

Here is the gate to The Collective, it is located in Makati and is pretty near SDA building guys :> It's really got lots of things inside but when I went here with my friends, some of them were still closed. Anyhoo, here's our first target: Homeroom.

I went inside hesitantly because it felt like the store was still closed but I asked one of the guys packing if we could enter and he said "Yeah" in a very cute accent. I later found out that his name was James Laurel and I mistook him for an Australian guy but noooooo. Guys, he's Filipino/Britzz. Shhetzzz. Noiiceee. =)) We asked him if we could take a picture of him but was a shy man and said he looked nasty, tried to shake his hand as we leave but said it was dirty...so we just elbow-bumped each other (instead of a fist bump) :)) What a nice down-to-earth guy~~

They sell brands that can't be found here in the Phils and from what I've googled Brent Javier owns the room (get it? Homeroom...Classroom :)) ). I love the concept of it and it's insides. The brands they sell are really good to!

Super sunglasses.

What a cool telescope!!!!

The shoes are from the brand called Keep (methinks) and the prices are very affordable for these cool shoes, if I remember correctly their prices are 2k and above. Pretty cheap for these shoes.

Cool hoodie!

There's James on the left with the bandana fixing some stuff. This one was probably my fave part, the ginormous blackboard!!! James told us to stop over once again and doodle on the black board, and we said we'd definitely come back. I know I would :D

I want to go back for these though...I'm just not sure how much they were but I'm definitely going back to Homeroom. I love it soo much! Oh, and because the people there were nice, and James is from Batangas by the way! He said it in a nice British accent/////swoon////

Off to the next store!

This alley leads to Vinyl on Vinyl!
It's a gallery/store.

The Three Kings

They also sell t-shirts there for the price of 500 pesos.

Toys are also displayed but the toys aren't my thing.

Their next show: Gabby Tiongson's Sharpie artworks! Parang I want to go.

STICKERS EVERYWHEEREE!!!

Next up:

I saw these cute bicycles outside~~

It's from a workshop called Hocus where they re-create old bicycles and somehow pimp them up. The owners were there and I said hiii. Sheina and Andre were just doing their own thing so I went shooting away trying to stay stealth while Andre was exposing some prints.

They started with silkscreens then just branched out into their hobby of bicycles.
LOVE ITTT.

The Selby ako for a day. =))

Next up is Yadu. The insides of Yadu are WILD. :))Na-overwhelm ako sa bags.

Cool American flag backpack! I want.

See what I mean? WILD.

Cool interior, I like the idea of using branches as hangers or something. Pretty unique, the only problem is, there are soooooo many bags hanging that I don't know which one to pick! Nakaka-overwhelm ika nga.

Last but not the least, Crazy Sundae.
Store is kind of small and nasa corner lang siya but it's got some good stuff too.

AND THESE PRINTS! TO DIE FOR. I wanted to buy one but I decided to save my money#shoppingregrets
They cost 500 pesos ONLY! Cheap and cool~~

AAANNNNNDDDd, that was my trip to The Collective! I had fun and hope that the other stores were open but alas...I shall visit again another time. Soo, adios amigos!!!

PS. just in case you're wondering whatever happened to my website for webdev (not that anyone is interested or something...) here's a link to my MOTHERFUCKING WEBSITE. IT'S NOT THAT GOOD, BUT I'M JUST GLAD IT'S OVER. Oh, and the fonts I used didn't show on the web sooo, lame ung fonts. Sorry bout that. CLICKITYCLICKCLICK!
