I Love My Boys. (Suit up!)

Azur suit, Pabder shoes, Debenhams shirt, and Wharton bow tie.
My brother Bong is not that much into "fashion" as my other brother Nino is so he asked me if I could help him out with what he could wear to a "business party" that they were going to attend. Of course, how could I say no to that?! I love guy clothes okay? =)))

I styled his outfit and got inspired by The Sartorialist and GQ photos (since it's the Men's Fashion Week right now) AND most of all by Swagger360. (Swagger 360 is all about classic styling of men but sometimes a little modernity is being posted there, check it out as well coz he doesn't just take photos of guys/men, he also takes photo of some women and their rad shoes :>)

Anyhoo, here are the deetz in my bros outfit:

I was aiming for a khaki look for the shirt inside but couldn't find one and beige is not good of a replacement for my khaki idea so we opted for this color, dark brown. I didn't want to go with the oh so repeated and oh so OVERLY USED COLORS like black, white, blue, OR ANYTHING PINSTRIPED (my eyes are rolling as I type this =)) ) so we got this.

Instantly, as we got the coat on and the color for the shirt, I thought of maroon with a cute design that resembles art nouveu style but couldn't find one. So I got Bong this maroon bow tie with small boxes as a design, very cute and I bought it in SM department store for just around 200 bucks. I even wanted him to wear a pocket square but decided it's too much.

the chest pcoket.

I asked Bong what he wanted, bow tie or neck and he asked "Would bow tie be possible?" and of course I said "YES!" with joy. :)))) I always tend to ask Bong if it's cool with him (about the decisions I make) and make sure he's comfy with what I give him because in the end, I still want it to be him and NOT COMPLETELY ME. :)

and the buttons.

But, I didn't get what I wanted him to wear that night, you'll see later why. :(

Here, my brother is getting ready as well...

(Karl Lagerfeld collar, is that you?! :)) )

I also helped him out in getting prepared and I was really having fun even though they were rushing me because they had a meeting to attend before the party AND CAN I JUST SAY THAT MY HEART WAS THUMPING?!?!!

Here's a little bromance in the moment. :''>

and.. taddaaaa~~ tie fixed. :))

Here's my brother loving his outfit and posing trying to be a male model or feeling being taken by The Sartorialist. =)))) HE EVEN GOT A HAIRCUT JUST SORTA LIKE SCOTT'S FROM THE BARBER SHOP! =))

Topman coat, shirt and socks,
Tailored pants, and Cerutti neck tie, and Prada bag(seen on the last photo).

Here's his shoe and look at his socks! The little deetz are the best :))

AND OFFF THEY GOOO~~~

NAT!

My mom and brother, oh actually everyone thought that it was better if he used a necktie because some said that he looked "too uptight", some said Nino had red in his socks so he shouldn't wear the bow tie 8- , and Nino said he looked like he was going to prom (EYES ARE COMPLETELY ROLLING RIGHT NOW!!! 8- ).

My goddd!!! In OTHER PLACES THAN THE PHILS, they wear bow ties on a normal dayyy!!! That was even the basis of my research from Swagger 360! : Casual Flyyy guys. Casual fly*.

*MEANS your outfit is cool for a normal day and can be worn at night to a party-Swagger 360*

So my brother ended up wearing this tie. It's nice..but don't you guys get tired of being in a room filled with people who are in ties as well?! DON'T YOU JUST WANNA BREAK OUT FROM THE NORMS? Coz that's basically me...trying to break the norms and my mother usually disapproves and sometimes Nino seconds the motion. :

But hey, it's not the end of the world yet and someday,
I will have the last say...so for now, we get half my idea down the streets and the others shoved back in the closet. :

To end this long post, photos of my brothers nicely suited up. Barney Stinson would be a proud man today. :))
