New Year's is Comin. AND IT CAME. =))))

I love how I consecutively have good books at the end of each year, maybe next year a book from Garance? *winkhintwink* :)))

Someone Told Me to "Follow my Passion"

My awesome ninang (godmother?) gave me this cool bracelet that matched with my Zara leather shoes. It was sooo cool because it had a message on it that read:

"Follow your Passion"
This is officially one of the best gifts I've received... ever!

Remember how I told you guys about this lady that I thought was really nice, well, I found this video of her...well actually, she's just a part of the video. :)) Have fun watching coz I did, Mrs. Tess Singson appears on the 2nd part of this webisode. :)

Face Hunter in Manila!!!

My feelings when I was about to go to Bonifacio High Street to meet Face Hunter aka Yvan Rodic was excited/nervous/psyched/freaked out!!! Yes, all those feelings in one day, people. I could feel my pulse racing everytime I think about it.

Went there early, like an hour early so I had time to look at the books.
Just to make it clear, Fully Booked is my fave bookstore aside from National Bookstore. =))) I love art materials! AND ART BOOKS. :)

There were soo many fashionable people who went there and I felt soooo shy as the crowd got thicker. Guess who I saw in the book signing event :> :> :>

I was in line for buying Face Hunter's book when he came in! I was starstrucked and when he looked at me, I looked away! SILLY BILLY, I GOT SOOOO SHY!!! =))))

He answered the questions so nicely and he even made us laugh with his witty antics.

Oh, this is me and my newlyfound friend, Steff Yu. She's awesome and very funny.

This was before the signing began, my friend told me to go get a pic with him and he kind enough to oblige! I said "Thank you!" and he said "My pleasure" :D

Now, it was my turn after this girl and my hands were sweating and I was kind of fidgeting when I got there in line. =)))

He was soo nice when I had a VERY little chat with him

Then I asked him about Balut and he couldn't eat it at all :)) CUTE.

I asked him if I could get a hug as well just like what my cousin did and he said yes! :))))

AND HE DID A PEACE SIGN FOR MEEE!!~~~~

After he signed my book, I went to this lady who caught my attention because her outfit was sooo cooollll!!!
She was so nice and adorable because she was with her son who looked fashionable as well, I found a vid of them together and I shall post it later. :)) I asked her what her name was and she said it's TESS SINGSON! :) SUCH A NICE LADY.

From the video I saw she said her outfit comprised of a Comme des Garcon jacket, Matthew Williams hand bag, LanvinxH&M shirt, and Topshop shoes! SHE IS JUST SO COOOOLLL!!!

And the girl with the red hair? IT'S GAROVS GARROVILLO from Everywhereweshoot :D She's sooo cool and in this photo we we're laughing coz when I asked her if I could have a photo with her, she asked "Oh, why me?!" :))

I was sooo shy to tell her why but it was because when I first read about her in the Preview's Best Dressed List, I found her sooo cool that she didn't change the way she wears clothes just because her grandma didn't like her outfits. :))))) OKAY, I'm soo mababaw but yeah. Thought she was cool, okayz? :))

She's soo cute and petite but she's soo pretty. :)

I was kind of shy to ask for a photo but my friend told me to do soooo, so here it is! He was so kind as well to say yes for the photo, I was a happy child when he said yes.

After the book signing, we roamed BHS for something to eat. The place was jam-packed and every restaurant was full. Lucky for us we got to eat at Italliani's but before we got to eat there, my friend's Trixie and Steff went to Sonja's for some cool cupcakes.

Then I got home. :) It was a day I will never forget. My palms sweating, lips dry, and pulse beating fast because of the excitement and awe I felt seeing one of my idols was great. I think I'd feel the same if I meet The Sartorialist and Garance Dore *WINK WINK*..or maybe worse, I'd die. =))))))

What I Wore to Face Hunter's Book Signing Event.

This is what I wore to the book signing event held yesterday, December 29, 2010 in Bonifacio High Street, where I met Yvan Rodic in person. (Ee-van Ro-ditch)

As I was dressing up, I was totally freaking out because I had no idea what to wear and I've been thinking about what to wear for days!!! I changed shirts like a gazillion times already but decided to use wear this to the event.

I'm wearing my favourite Topshop Bowler Hat, Zara Band Jacket, Topman suspenders, Zara leather shoes, and my mom's vintage Chanel bag. :)

My friend Rosa told me to do something about my hair and so I decided to wax it up.

And my Christmas present from my mother, Zara leather shoes! :) LOVE IT!!!

Oh, and I'm wearing my bro's Christmas gift for me as well! The Swatch watch which I really adore. Next post, meeting the man himself!

Wishlists, Anyone?

Anyone who knows me A LOT knows that my ultimate dream is to have a longboard. I've been dreaming of having one for years but it's quite expensive, so I am left to settle on more "affordable" ones like these:

Vans. Because I think I'm like the only person in the world who doesn't have one. AND I WOULD REALLY LIKE TO HAVE ONE. :))))

An iTouch. Really, happy na ako with an iTouch. That's how I love music so much. My current "player" is the one on my phone and though it satisfies me on my love for music, I AM NOT CONTENTED WITH IT. :))

A CRISP WHITE OXFORD/BUTTON-DOWN SHIRT.
Just cause...I WANT ONE.

And Penny loafers, I want the one with the heels like the brown, red, and black in the photo. :))

So yeah. That's my wishlist...surely there will be more but I just can't remember them right now. :|

I wore this to school. I forgot what mood I was in but I would probably guess Chuck Bass mood or I had a preppy thing going on. :)))

I was really planning on wearing the outfit with a bowtie to school but my friend Monica said she liked my outfit the way it was, so I decided not to wear a bowtie.
